CLEAR EXPECTATIONS

Company policies & terms

What to expect before booking, during your move and at delivery.

Draft for company approval

This proposed service framework should be approved by the company before public launch. The accepted quotation and applicable consumer rights remain important.

01

Service scope and acceptance

The accepted quotation should identify services, addresses, inventory, date and responsible contacts. Sending an enquiry does not reserve a crew or vehicle. Booking is confirmed only after the scope and payment arrangement are acknowledged. Keep a copy of the final quotation and any agreed changes.

02

Inventory and survey information

Provide an accurate item list or clear photographs, including fragile, heavy, oversized and high-value goods. A room count alone may not describe the consignment. Tell us about additions or removals after a survey so vehicle size, packing and manpower can be reviewed before the service date.

03

Quotations, inclusions and exclusions

Check whether materials, dismantling, reassembly, labour, transport, unloading, unpacking and waste collection are included. Storage, specialist handling, parking, tolls and other charges should be stated where applicable. Revised scope or amounts should be explained and agreed before additional work is undertaken.

04

Access, permissions and preparation

Arrange lawful access, society permissions, lift bookings and loading space at both addresses. Disclose narrow roads, long carrying distances, stairs and vehicle restrictions. Keep passages clear, secure pets and supervise children away from the work area. Retain valuables and essential personal items yourself.

05

Packing and customer-packed goods

Packing depends on the goods and agreed scope. Identify breakables and items needing individual handling. Mark cartons you packed, seal them securely and label their contents and destination rooms. Concealed conditions inside customer-packed cartons may make assessment more difficult; discuss responsibilities before collection.

06

Appliances and specialist work

Back up electronic data and disconnect appliances before the move. Defrost and dry refrigerators in advance. Electrical, plumbing, gas, air-conditioner, carpentry and technical installation work are excluded unless specifically arranged in writing. Do not ask handling staff to perform specialist work outside their agreed role.

07

Restricted and unsuitable goods

Do not include illegal goods, explosives, flammable liquids, leaking chemicals, live animals or hazardous items in an ordinary moving consignment. Discuss unusual goods before booking. Cash, jewellery, important documents, medicines and irreplaceable personal items should travel with you. Perishable goods need a separately agreed suitable arrangement.

08

Vehicle transportation

Share the model, running condition and route. Remove belongings and detachable valuables; retain copies of required documents. Record visible condition and accessories with dated photographs at pickup and delivery. Confirm authorised collection and receiving contacts and any separate carrier schedule in writing.

09

Pickup and delivery schedules

Pickup and transit windows are estimates unless a specific commitment is recorded in writing. Weather, traffic, restrictions, route interruptions and destination access may affect timing. Keep the receiving contact available and promptly communicate address or access changes. Discuss revised arrangements if delivery cannot be accepted as planned.

10

Payments and receipts

The quotation should explain milestones, accepted payment methods and any advance required. Pay only through the contact or account confirmed by the company and request acknowledgement. Do not rely on unsolicited payment requests claiming to be from the moving team. Clarify disputed amounts before further payment.

11

Rescheduling, cancellation and refunds

Notify us as soon as you need to change or cancel. Any applicable charge should be explained by reference to the accepted quotation and work or resources already committed. Refund eligibility, deductions and processing periods must be confirmed in writing; this website does not impose a blanket non-refundable rule.

12

Storage arrangements

Confirm the facility or provider, inventory, duration, access rules, charges and release process before storage. Avoid prohibited, perishable or unsuitable items. Discuss moisture-sensitive and high-value goods separately. Retrieval, handling and onward delivery may need advance notice and a separately agreed scope.

13

Transit cover and declared values

Transit cover is not automatically included. Where an arrangement is available, ask for the provider, declared-value basis, premium or charge, exclusions, excess and documents before dispatch. Read the actual terms. Relocation support is not a promise that every item or cause of loss is covered.

14

Delivery inspection and concerns

Count packages and inspect accessible goods and vehicles at handover. Record visible concerns on the acknowledgement, take photographs and contact the company promptly with the inventory, quotation and supporting records. Do not sign a statement you know is inaccurate. Check and follow any cover-provider reporting requirements.

15

Complaints and resolution

Send concerns to info@goaprimerelocation.com or call 7378696139, quoting your name, route, service date and a clear description. Share supporting records without unnecessary personal data. The company should review the facts and explain next steps. Nothing in these terms is intended to remove rights available under applicable law.

16

Privacy and information use

Enquiry details are used to respond, prepare quotations and coordinate the requested service. Necessary details may be shared with people or providers handling the move. Do not submit sensitive identity documents through the general form. Contact the company about correction or deletion requests, subject to applicable retention requirements.

17

Reviews and published feedback

Submit your own experience without private contact details, abusive language or unsupported allegations. Reviews are moderated before publication and may receive a reply. Genuine criticism should not be rejected solely because it is negative. Marked design samples are illustrative and must not be treated as customer endorsements.

18

Website information and changes

Website descriptions explain typical options; the accepted quotation defines your service. Promotional images are illustrations, not proof of owned facilities, staff or vehicles. Material booking changes should be recorded in writing. These draft website terms should be approved by the company before public launch.
